Van sign writing can be a powerful tool for businesses to enhance their brand visibility and generate leads. Here's a look at its positive influences:
Free Advertising on the Move: Every mile your van travels is a potential advertisement. Your contact information and branding are constantly exposed to new audiences.
Brand Recognition and Recall: Consistent exposure to your logo and messaging builds brand familiarity, increasing the likelihood that potential customers will choose your business.
Professionalism and Credibility: Well-designed van graphics convey a sense of professionalism and establish trust with potential clients.
Increased Lead Generation: Eye-catching designs can attract attention and encourage people to contact your business.
Cost-Effectiveness: Compared to traditional advertising methods, van sign writing offers a relatively low-cost way to reach a large audience.
Here are some examples of positive influences of van sign writing:
A local plumbing company with a well-designed van sporting their logo and contact information may receive calls from homeowners noticing the van in their neighborhood.
A landscaping business with a van showcasing their beautiful garden designs could inspire potential clients to contact them for a consultation.
A mobile food vendor with a vibrant and eye-catching van design might attract more customers to their food truck.
Remember: The effectiveness of van sign writing depends on the quality of the design, the clarity of the message, and the frequency of exposure.

Extreme Signs are based on Calmore Industrial Estate in Totton, a couple minutes off the M27.
Most signwriting and wrap takes place at our workshop, but we do work with trade partners such as dealerships to complete your branding before the vehicle is collected.
We regularily work with dealerships from Crawely to Exeter to prepare vehicles after sale.

Prices range from £50 to £4500. And everywhere in between. At the bottom end you would be looking at a simple name/logo on the cab doors, and at the top end are printed wraps.
-
Yes. Magnetics are a great solution for temporary marking. Shaped or tailored magnetic signs are available. But for a permanent application you should opt for conventional signage as 'magnetics' are not designed to be left on paintwork.
-
Yes we can, there is a cost for this if required.
Removing a vinyl wrap or lettering is easy: You just need to warm the vinyl and peel. Its not a quick process, but does not need to be carried out by professionals. In spring, summer and autumn months the sun will warm the vinyl enough to remove, but in the winter you will need to warm the area with either a heat gun, hair dryer, or by pouring hot (not boiling) water over it. Its important not to overheat the material as this will boil the wrap and 'cook' the adhesive. Just warm enough to feel 'hot' with your hand.
Tom says: "Its fingernails and patience. And if its 'not for you' you can buy our fingernails and patience for £50/hour."

Wrap is the process of totally covering a vehicle, or parts of a vehicle in vinyl. Vehicle graphics can be a number of things, but primarily cut vinyl shapes, logos or designs applied to the paintwork.
-
Yes! You'll want to use a removable vinyl, and ideally a design that'll avoid ghosting after removal.
All our fleet/van-sign materials are manufactured with removable adhesive and regularly work with fleet leasing agents/dealerships to service their customers.

It all depends on the nature of your work.
If you are working on the highway, you'll need chapter-8 markings (visit our dedicated page for more info).
But if you are simply working from your van its unlikely you will need reflective markings.
-
Extreme know you need your van, we want to minimise the time its off the road as much as possible. For conventional signwriting and part wraps we can complete in a matter of hours. For colour change wraps we ask for the vehicle to be left at our Southampton workshop for 5 working days, but often the work is completed within 4.

Less is always more when you're driving down the M27 or stuck on the A34.
To ensure your signage works the headlines must be clear: Company name, Headline service and web address. Other information you may like to display include accreditations, telephone numbers and sub-services. Though most interested customers will head over to your website for more information.
If your a Tree Surgeon in new forest, Surveyor from Portsmouth, or a Recovery Agent from Hythe Chapter-8 markings may also be required to work on the highway. Our in-house design team can help create a 'moving billboard' that works for you.
